The red weeping cherry blossoms in front of the Daishoin Temple are a sight to behold. Numerous flowers bloom from the weeping branches, looking like a pink waterfall. In the Sakura-en, located in the center of the temple grounds, various types of cherry trees are planted, each displaying a different beauty.
In addition, Myoman-ji Temple is close to Mt. Hiei, and from the temple grounds, visitors can enjoy a magnificent view of Mt. The borrowed scenery of cherry blossoms and Mt. The Hana Matsuri is a Buddhist memorial service to celebrate the birth of Lord Buddha (April 8). The birth Buddha is enshrined in a flower hall decorated with beautiful flowers, and sweet tea is poured to celebrate.

Light up at night
The Myoman-ji Cherry Blossom Garden is located in a corner around the Daishoin Temple. Every year from early to mid-April, the weeping cherry trees, including the large cherry tree in the Daishoin, are in full bloom, delighting visitors.
During this period, the garden is also illuminated at night, allowing visitors to enjoy the ethereal night view of the cherry blossoms in the darkness.
