Features and Highlights

  • Beautiful contrast of green moss and cherry blossoms
  • The vermilion-lacquered Taiko-bashi (drum bridge) stands out against the cherry blossoms
  • Collaboration photo with the Eizan Train

The highlight of the cherry blossoms in Seiryuen is the contrast of the cherry blossoms and the green moss that covers the entire area. Pale pink cherry blossoms blooming on the fresh moss look like a painting. There are five azumaya (resting places) in the park where visitors can sit and enjoy viewing the cherry blossoms.

Walking toward the mountain side of the park, visitors will see a vermilion-lacquered drum bridge that spans the foot of Anyoji Mountain. This bridge is surrounded by cherry blossoms and makes an excellent photo spot. The Eizan Train runs right next to the garden, making it a great place to take photos of the cherry blossoms and the train.
