The highlight of the cherry blossoms at Fushimi Momoyama Castle is the combination of the castle and the cherry trees planted around the castle. The light pink of the Someiyoshino cherry trees and the deep pink of the weeping cherry trees blend with the black and white contrast of the castle to create a beautiful scene.
The cherry blossoms are concentrated around the castle tower, and visitors can enjoy a spectacular view of the cherry blossoms and the castle from any angle. The row of cherry trees stretching from the mock Ote-mon gate to the castle keep is particularly breathtaking, and visitors can walk through a tunnel of cherry blossoms on their way to the castle.
